The JAK2 Exon 12 & 14 Mutation Analysis is a molecular genetic test used to detect specific mutations in the JAK2 (Janus Kinase 2) gene. These mutations are strongly associated with certain myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs)—a group of blood disorders in which the bone marrow produces excessive blood cells.
