Also Known As:
Anti-gliadin IgG (AGA IgG) Gliadin IgG antibody

Gliadin Antibody IgG is a blood test that measures immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies directed against gliadin, which is a component of gluten (the protein found in wheat, barley, and rye). When the immune system mistakenly reacts to gluten, these antibodies may be produced.

This test was historically used to screen for celiac disease and gluten sensitivity, though newer tests like tTG-IgA and DGP-IgG are now more accurate for diagnosing celiac disease.
