CD 103 (HAIRY CELL MARKER)
The CD103 Flow Cytometry test is used to detect and quantify the expression of CD103 (Integrin Ξ±E), a cell surface marker commonly associated with certain B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders, particularly Hairy Cell Leukemia (HCL). CD103 is characteristically expressed on neoplastic B-cells in HCL and helps distinguish it from other chronic B-cell leukemias and lymphomas.
