This test uses flow cytometry to evaluate the expression of CD64, a high-affinity Fc gamma receptor expressed primarily on monocytes, macrophages, and activated neutrophils. CD64 is an important myelo-monocytic cell marker used for the identification and characterization of cells of monocytic lineage and assessment of myeloid disorders.
