A Stool Culture (Anaerobic) Test is a laboratory test used to detect and identify anaerobic bacteria (bacteria that grow in the absence of oxygen) present in a stool sample. These organisms can sometimes cause gastrointestinal infections, abscesses, or other digestive tract disorders.
