Culture – Miscellaneous (Aerobic) – 12 Drugs Test is a microbiology laboratory test used to:

•  Detect and identify aerobic bacteria (bacteria that grow in the presence of oxygen) from a clinical sample such as pus, wound swab, body fluid, tissue, sputum, urine, etc. 
•  Determine which antibiotics are effective against the bacteria found by testing their susceptibility to 12 different antimicrobial drugs.
