The Urine Metanephrine β 24 Hours test measures the amount of metanephrines excreted in urine over a 24-hour period. It is used to help diagnose pheochromocytoma and paraganglioma, rare tumors of the adrenal glands that produce excess catecholamines. Elevated levels indicate increased hormone production and support further evaluation.
