A Small Specimen Biopsy (<2 cm) involves the collection of a tissue sample less than 2 centimeters in its greatest dimension for microscopic examination. This specimen is sufficient for routine histopathological evaluation to aid in diagnosis, detection of abnormal or malignant cells, and determination of disease type or extent.
