A Medium Specimen Biopsy (>2 cm and up to 5 cm) involves the collection and pathological examination of a tissue sample measuring more than 2 centimeters and up to 5 centimeters in greatest dimension. The specimen is processed and evaluated microscopically to aid in the diagnosis, classification, and assessment of diseases, including inflammatory, benign, or malignant conditions.
