The BCR-ABL PCR (Quantitative) test is a highly sensitive molecular blood test used to measure the amount (level) of BCR-ABL gene transcripts in the body.

The BCR-ABL gene is an abnormal fusion gene formed by the Philadelphia chromosome, strongly associated with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia and sometimes acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
