2D Echocardiography (2D Echo) is a non-invasive imaging test that uses ultrasound waves to create moving pictures of the heart’s structures, such as the chambers, valves, and walls. When combined with Colour Doppler, the test also evaluates the blood flow through the heart and major vessels.
