The GeneXpert MTB test (also called Xpert MTB/RIF) is a rapid molecular diagnostic test used to detect tuberculosis (TB) and resistance to rifampicin (a key anti-TB drug).

It is developed by Cepheid and endorsed by the World Health Organization for the diagnosis of TB.
