The Cardiolipin Antibody (ACL-IgA) test measures the presence of IgA-type antibodies against cardiolipin, a phospholipid found in cell membranes. The test is primarily used to help diagnose autoimmune disorders, such as antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), which can increase the risk of blood clots, recurrent miscarriages, or stroke.
