This test detects and measures the total antibodies (IgM, IgG, and IgA) produced by the body in response to infection with Brucella species, the bacteria responsible for brucellosis. Brucellosis is a zoonotic infection commonly transmitted through contact with infected animals or consumption of contaminated animal products.
